Post-Treatment Care

Please follow the post-treatment care guidelines for each procedure below. If you have any questions, please contact the id Clinic branch where you received your treatment.

CO2 Laser

It is recommended to avoid washing your face on the day of the procedure. Light cleansing and makeup are allowed starting the next day (When washing your face, be careful not to remove the healing tape. If it comes off, please replace it.)
For mole removal, please keep the healing tape on for 1–2 weeks while washing your face and applying makeup.
Reapply the healing tape every two days.
For about one week after the procedure, light showers are fine, but please avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, and vigorous exercise that causes excessive sweating.
When going outside, apply sunscreen thoroughly to prevent hyperpigmentation, and we recommend using a regeneration cream (Please use sunscreen with a high SPF.)

Botox

Facial cleansing or applying makeup is possible one hour after the treatment.
After forehead or glabella Botox treatment, your eyes might temporarily feel heavy or swell, but it gradually improves starting around two weeks later.
Avoid tough or hard foods for about a week following jawline Botox treatment.
After salivary gland Botox treatment, stay hydrated as dryness in the mouth may occur.
Due to Botoxs sensitivity to heat, it is advisable to refrain from excessive exercise, hot baths, saunas, massages, alcohol, and smoking for about a week after the treatment.

After the treatment, avoid massaging or applying heat to the treated area.

Skin Booster

It is advisable to avoid facial cleansing and makeup on the day of the treatment.
For approximately 2-3 days, there may be some exfoliation, redness, and slight swelling.
After the treatment, apply products with regenerative and moisturizing effects to promote skin regeneration.
Avoid saunas, peeling, and scrubs for about 2 weeks post-treatment.
Temporary exfoliation or acne may occur after the procedure, but it is recommended not to touch as it tends to improve over time.
Apply sunscreen thorougly when going out.

Thread Lifting

Thread Lift

The threads used in PDO thread lifting are absorbable collagen. After 2 weeks, they will be naturally absorbed, leaving no threads behind. But collagen fibers in the skin will be formed in the treated area, creating a lifting effect.
Swelling and bruising tend to improve after 1-2 weeks post-procedure.
In some cases, there may be temporary tingling pain in the treated area after the procedure, but it naturally fades over time.
Part of the thread may protrude outside the skin due to muscle movement after the procedure. In such cases, please visit the clinic.
Avoid vigorously rubbing or applying strong pressure to the treated area, and refrain from intense massages or acupressure on the treated area.
If bruising occurs, applying bruise cream can speed up the recovery time.
Makeup can be applied from the day after the treatment.
For about a week after the treatment, it is advisable to avoid excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, intense exercise, sauna, and facial massages.

Contour Injection

Some bruising may occur after the procedure, but it typically fades away within 1-2 weeks. Swelling or injection needle marks usually disappear within a day or two.
Facial cleansing or makeup application is possible one hour after the treatment.
For the first 7 days post-treatment, avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts that cause sweating or generate a lot of heat.

Laser Toning

For about 7-10 days after the treatment, freckles or blemishes may temporarily appear darker than before and then gradually lighten afterwards.
After treatment, sensitivity to sunlight may increase. Thus, it is advisable to avoid outdoor activities or sunbathing and apply sunscreen thoroughly when going out.
While gentle facial cleansing, makeup, and light showers are permissible after the treatment, it is recommended to avoid saunas, scrubs, and massages on the day of the treatment.
Sun spots may reoccur. Since they are often mixed with freckles, some sun spots might reappear even darker after laser treatment even though moles improve.

Potenza

It is advisable to avoid makeup on the day of the treatment, and a light facial cleanse is recommended.
There may be some redness and slight swelling for about 2-3 days after the treatment.
To aid skin regeneration, generously apply products with regenerative and moisturizing effects after the treatment.
Avoid saunas, peeling, and scrubs for approximately 2 weeks post-treatment.
Temporary exfoliation or trouble may occur after the procedure, but it is recommended not to touch as it tends to improve over time.
Thoroughly apply sunscreen when going out.

Filler

Please be sure to take all the prescribed medication for the first 3 days after the treatment, always after meals.
Swelling may increase in the treated area 2-3 days after the procedure. There may be some bruising, but it typically disappears within 1-2 weeks.
After the procedure, do not rub the treated area arbitrarily. Avoid activities such as massages, saunas, intense workouts causing sweating or heat, alcohol consumption, and smoking for at least 7 days.
Be cautious not to apply pressure or squeeze the treated area. If you have received a nose filler treatment, avoid wearing glasses for about 2 weeks.
If the treated area or adjacent area becomes red or turns white, accompanied by severe pain, visit the clinic immediately for appropriate treatment.

Laser Lifting

Laser Lift

Cleansing and makeup are permissible immediately after the treatment.
Depending on individual variations, temporary tingling sensations, swelling, bruising, and redness may occur after the treatment, but they naturally fade over time.
For approximately one week after the treatment, avoid cold treatments such as ice packs or cryotherapy and saunas, alcohol consumption, peeling, and scrubs.
Drink plenty of water for about 2-3 days post-treatment, and ensure to apply sufficient moisturizer to prevent dehydration of the skin.

Sedation

Post-sedation

Please avoid driving or operating machinery on the day of the procedure. We recommend returning home with a guardian or using a taxi/public transportation.
Avoid alcohol, smoking, strenuous exercise, or excessive fatigue on the day of the procedure.
You may experience dizziness, nausea, vomiting, or headache right after the procedure. Please rest at home, and contact the clinic if symptoms worsen.
Avoid saunas, hot baths, steam rooms, or heavy sweating exercises for 3–7 days after the procedure.
If you received any skin treatment, please follow the sedation for the area, including moisturizing, sun protection, and avoiding rubbing or exfoliating the treated area.
Depending on your procedure, there may be restrictions on food intake or medication for the first 6 hours. Please follow the medical staff’s sedation carefully.
If you have any underlying conditions or medications you forgot to mention before the procedure, please inform the clinic after the procedure.
Starting the next day, please monitor your condition (redness, swelling, pain, etc.) and contact the clinic immediately if you notice anything unusual.
