Japan’s cosplay event brand “acosta!” held its first event in Korea, with ID Clinic participating as a sponsor and hosting an on-site promotional event.
ID Clinic announced that it participated as a sponsor in acosta! Cheongnyangni (acosta! KOREA), held over two days starting June 27 at Art Forest Cheongnyangni in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
acosta! is a cosplay event brand that originated in Japan and is a subculture event where cosplayers and general visitors can participate together.
The event primarily features cosplay photography, networking programs for participants, and interactive content. This marked the first time the event was held in Korea.
The organizers designed the venue to allow participants to enjoy cosplay in an open environment beyond conventional indoor studio-based photography. A variety of programs were also prepared so participants could experience both photo sessions based on their characters and concepts and opportunities to interact with one another.
ID Clinic hosted an on-site event during the festival. Visitors who added ID Clinic as a KakaoTalk Plus Friend received a cooling patch, the clinic explained.
An ID Clinic representative said, “We participated as a sponsor in an event that gave us an opportunity to connect with participants who enjoy a wide variety of cultural content. We prepared the program so that visitors could comfortably enjoy the event while at the venue.”
Meanwhile, acosta! Cheongnyangni marked the first Korean edition of the cosplay event brand currently operating in Japan, featuring cosplay photography and community programs.
